In 2002 our Owner Oscar F Lopez decided to fortake the massage field. He graduated from the Monterey Institute of Touch in Carmel, California. Upon graduation he encontered several challenges in regards to the field of massage. One challenge, that it was very difficult to survive in a field dominated by female massage therapists. He had lots of female massage contacts and they help him through the hardtimes of getting started. In 2003, he practiced at the Yoga High Studio in Salinas, Ca. There he learn the necessary skills of client retention and about meditation and yoga. It was at Yoga High where he began his approach to helping others. He began giving chair massage instead of traditional table swedish massage. And also learn about Relaxation Therapy modalities and concepts. His business for chair massage began to expand and in late 2004 he began his mission to focus on the corporate needs. Since 2004, OscarstouchMassage has been hiring massage therapists as independent contractors to better serve the growing need of the chair massage industry. By acquiring members of the various massage professional organizations and working together to supply the demand for onsite chair massage. OscarsTouchMassage is now throughout the Bay Area,Silicon Valley and Central Valley areas. With our Workplace Break Onsite Massage, we have been able to give affortable quality massages in small or large office areas to the individual at 15 minute sessions. OscarstouchMassage is now focus more than ever after 6 years in business with the support of our staff and professional massage therapists to make Onsite chair massage affortable and accessible. Competition is always challenging. But our goal is to stand out with professional and courteous service to the corporate and small business needs. While working with business wellness budgets and plans to help not only the employees but the bottomline.
